The Research Organisation Registry (ROR) is a global directory of identifiers for research organisations, established in 2018 and supported by the California Digital Library, Crossref and DataCite. 3,836 French organisations are listed in the registry. The initiative addresses the need for an international digital identifier for research organisations.
