Transparency in clinical trials – CNCR
Transparency in clinical trials - Comité National de Coordination de la Recherche
The working group on ‘Transparency and Publication of Health Research Results in accordance with European Regulations’ has been looking into the issue of publication bias. Publication bias refers to the trend of only publishing positive results, whilst neglecting negative, less attractive results. This is a long-standing problem in the scientific literature. It was confirmed in France by the first edition of the Open Science “Health” Barometer (2022), which indicates that only 57% of French clinical trials result in the publication of results and their inclusion in clinical trial registries.
