Study on data-related careers

The study, carried out by the University of Montpellier and led by Anne Laurent, is divided into four phases:
1. Initial focus on activities relating to research data: a literature review of key roles and activities in data management, preservation and dissemination (data steward, data librarian, data curator, etc.);
2. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of existing practices and trajectories within higher education and research (ESR) environments that have established effective operational and organisational models;
3. Inventory of initial and continuing training programmes;
4. Extension of observations and proposals to inter-ministerial level.
