REVArchéo

The REVArcheo project is designed to produce a pioneering scientific digital publication in the form of an interactive 3D web monograph, focusing on a Roman house in Herculaneum. This digital monograph will seamlessly combine three interconnected components: a scientifically validated and navigable 3D model of the house, a comprehensive structured research database including all primary documentation (photographs, inventories, field reports), and an in-depth scholarly synthesis. The project embraces the principles of open science, enabling full, immediate, and free access to complex archaeological data and interpretations.
