Methods for the digital transition of MNHN monographies
Proposing a technical solution for digitalizing the Museum’s monographies. The tools and methods developed in the scope of this project will allow for a “freemium” publication of works, as well as rendering scientific data structured and interoperable.

Components of the projet
• Adapt Métopes to technical science publications (linked editorial units, incrementation of figures and tables)
• Increase semantized and interoperable data (beyond MetoTaxa)
• Make enhanced digital versions (ePub, pdf, HTML) available as soon as they are published, and feed data into appropriate databases
