JurisDoR – a new legal resource centre for research data

Recherche Data Gouv is providing a new resource centre for scientific communities in higher education and research. JurisDoR is dedicated to the legal resources necessary for research data management and not intended to provide legal advice or replace the research data governance policy of public higher education and research institutions.

JurisDoR is designed according to the research data lifecycle. The various applicable rules and standards are presented according to the operation performed on the data: collection and creation, analysis and processing, storage, security, dissemination, reuse. The presentation of legal resources also takes into account different types of data (biometric, confidential, geographical, personal, etc.).

JurisDoR is produced by the University of Montpellier with the support of the National Fund for Open Science.
