Identifying the requirements, opportunities and levers to be implemented to initiate cooperation between public scientific publishers
Formulating proposals to define and implement a new collective structure, built in collaboration with the sector’s stakeholders
Developing scenarios and then identifying the most effective of these to be implemented as a result of the study
Making recommendations on the form this organisation should take as well as its scope, objectives, mechanisms and methods of action, way of operating, governance, cost and financing methods

Caroline Dandurand

Research engineer at the École Normale Supérieure of Lyon who is leading the mission to prefigure a network of public scientific publishers committed to open science

Caroline Dandurand was initially the editorial secretary of an international veterinary science journal and worked on its transition to open access. She then joined Quae Publishing as scientific editor and then production and digital manager. She coordinated the implementation of some innovative editorial projects and directed both the development of open access and the international expansion of Quae publishing
