RDA 24th Plenary Meeting

Meeting

The 24th Research Data Alliance (RDA) Plenary meeting will be held fully virtually from the 7-11 April, 2025, under the theme: ‘Data for emerging technologies’.

Data is the backbone of almost every emerging technology and field of innovation we see today. Impactful and innovative technologies, ranging from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing to Synthetic Biology, rely on vast, complex datasets and robust data management practices to drive breakthroughs.

In today’s landscape, it is nearly impossible for any innovation to advance without a strong data connection. This event will explore how data serves as the critical link across these diverse technological landscapes, each demanding unique skills, standards, and best practices to thrive.

The 24th RDA Plenary will spotlight the vital role of data across rapidly changing technological landscapes. Join us to examine ways we can overcome social and technical barriers in data access, sharing, and interoperability, and outline robust data governance for emerging technologies.
