Diamond Open Access Conference

Conférence

Science Europe, cOAlition S, OPERAS, and the French National Research Agency (ANR) are organising a ‘Diamond Open Access Conference’ on 19 and 20 September 2022 in Zadar, Croatia.

The conference is organised in a hybrid format to allow participation in person, as well as remotely.
The event will bring together the community of organisations and individuals that have endorsed the ‘Action Plan to Diamond Open Access’ so far. Discussions will provide insights and inspiration to operationalise the Action Plan, based on existing good practices and including a vision to develop future common services.
An introduction to the project ‘Developing Institutional Open Access Publishing Models to Advance Scholarly Communication’ (DIAMAS, 2022–2025) is also foreseen. This project will be implemented in tandem with the development of the ‘Action Plan for Diamond Open Access’ and will operationalise some of its elements. To be launched on 1 September, the objective of DIAMAS is to contribute to the development of a coherent, high-quality, and sustainable Open Access scholarly communication system.

Science Europe, cOAlition S, OPERAS, and ANR look forward to bringing together the Diamond Open Access Action Plan community and to working together with you.
